With the LJUBLJANA MBA behind you, has the journey been worth it?
Yes, absolutely. It was demanding at times to balance work, family life, and studying, so it required some discipline and prioritization. But looking back, it was more than worth it.
The MBA gave me fresh motivation and new perspectives during a very intense period of my life. It helped me step back, think more strategically, and grow both professionally and personally. Most importantly, it connected me with wonderful classmates and professors. Sharing experiences with people facing similar challenges, reminded me how valuable support and open conversations really are.
What was your LJUBLJANA MBA highlight?
For me, the highlight was the people and the exchange of perspectives. Of course, the academic content was strong, but the real value came from discussions, teamwork, and learning from each other’s real-life experiences. Being in a group of professionals from different industries broadened my thinking and challenged my assumptions. Those conversations often stayed with me long after class and influenced how I approach decisions at work.
What would your advice be to future candidates?
My advice would be to fully engage with the experience, not just the work on courses. Manage your time well, but also invest in relationships and discussions with your peers. Be curious, ask questions, and connect theory with your own practice. The MBA goes by quickly, so the more open and present you are, the more value you’ll take away, both professionally and personally.
