Class presidents about their MBA journeys
Ognjen Backovič, Class president 2016/2017
1. Best MBA lesson learned?
Don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone. It can be frightening, but it can also be fun, not to mention it’s inevitable if you want to grow.
2. If you would be an MBA professor, what would you teach?
Based on my experience from professional team sport, I would say “Leadership”. Business and sports are incredibly similar in so many different ways, especially when it comes to leading the team and reaching the goals.
3. Your best MBA memory?
So many nice memories it’s hard to pick the best one. For sure it was the trip to Dublin or discussing the actual economic situation, trends, and turmoil with professors and classmates during the classes instead of learning. Debating and exchanging different viewpoints was one of my favorite learning experiences.
4. Best MBA class?
Global Institutional Economics and Managerial Economics
5. What would be your advice to future MBAs?
Enjoy every moment! You are in for quite a ride!
